This role requires a blend of analytical rigor, creative foresight, and strategic execution to position our organization at the forefront of innovation. You'll collaborate with C-suite executives, research labs, and global think tanks to develop actionable roadmaps for the next technological paradigm shift.
Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and climate tech domains
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for organizational adaptation to emerging technologies
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into product innovation
- Author whitepapers and thought leadership on future societal impacts of technology
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Advise leadership on ethical implications and risk mitigation of emerging technologies
- Manage an annual foresight budget of $500K+ for research and stakeholder engagement
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology research
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and technology roadmapping
- Exceptional communication skills with executive audiences and diverse stakeholders
- Published author in futurism or technology thought leadership
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and trend analysis software
