Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Develop comprehensive future outlook reports and innovation roadmaps for executive leadership
- Collaborate with R&D and product teams to integrate foresight findings into development cycles
- Design and facilitate workshops on emerging technologies and societal implications
- Establish quantitative and qualitative frameworks for measuring future readiness
- Represent the organization at global futurist forums and industry conferences
- Mentor cross-functional teams on future-thinking methodologies and strategic adaptation
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of translating foresight into actionable business strategies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to communicate complex future scenarios
- Experience facilitating executive workshops and stakeholder engagement
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy preferred
