Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ markets
- Develop data-driven strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions and validate market readiness
- Present trend analyses and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and lead a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations on future trends
- Integrate foresight insights into product roadmaps and corporate strategy
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 8+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futurist role
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology assessment
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership or recognized industry speaker
- Experience with futures research methodologies (Delphi, SWOT, PESTLE)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful strategic foresight implementations
