Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, socio-economic shifts, and geopolitical trends to identify disruptive opportunities through 2026
- Develop and publish annual Future State reports with scenario-based strategic recommendations
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align departments on long-term innovation priorities
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, think tanks, and R&D centers
- Present strategic foresight insights to executive stakeholders and board members
- Design and implement horizon-scanning frameworks for competitive advantage
- Champion ethical innovation principles in all strategic initiatives
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 8+ years in strategy, innovation, or trend analysis with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level communication abilities
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic foresight
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., STEEP analysis, Delphi method)
- Portfolio demonstrating impact from future-oriented initiatives
