Responsibilities
- Analyze global technological, economic, and social trends to forecast market shifts impacting 2026-2030
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology innovations
- Lead scenario planning workshops with executive leadership to prepare for multiple future states
- Present quarterly foresight briefings to stakeholders including investors and product teams
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Author white papers and thought leadership pieces on emerging paradigms
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (Master's or PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7 years experience in strategic planning, consulting, or futurism
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Proven track record of translating foresight into business strategy
- Exceptional presentation skills for executive audiences
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Published thought leadership in future-focused publications
