Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the company's 2026+ strategic vision through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite executives and board members with data-backed recommendations
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and industry think tanks for cutting-edge research
- Mentor innovation teams in design thinking and agile methodologies
- Quantify market opportunities and risks using predictive modeling tools
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) in core business operations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategy consulting, R&D leadership, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven track record of commercializing future-focused technologies
- Expertise in scenario planning, SWOT analysis, and trend extrapolation methodologies
- Proficiency with foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, horizon scanning platforms)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Deep understanding of emerging tech ecosystems (Web3, AI ethics, climate tech)
- Published thought leadership in innovation or futurism (articles, patents, or books)
