Responsibilities
- Analyze global technology trends, regulatory shifts, and market disruptions to forecast 2026+ industry landscapes
- Develop and execute multi-year innovation roadmaps aligned with company vision and market opportunities
- Lead cross-functional teams in rapid prototyping and validation of future-focused products/services
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members with data-driven insights
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia for early trend detection
- Build and maintain a 'Future Radar' system using AI-powered trend analysis and scenario modeling
- Mentor junior strategists and cultivate a culture of innovation across the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products that generated >$100M revenue
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, AGI ethics, biotech convergence, or climate tech
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, Business Strategy, or related field
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent strategic foresight certification preferred
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with proficiency in trend analysis tools (e.g., Gartner, Forrester)
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex future scenarios into executable business strategies
- Portfolio showcasing published future trend analyses or strategic innovation frameworks
