Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research on emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026
- Develop and maintain a strategic innovation roadmap aligned with long-term business objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into actionable product development plans
- Analyze global macro-trends (demographic shifts, climate tech, geopolitical shifts) for strategic implications
- Build and curate an ecosystem of futurists, technologists, and industry pioneers
- Present compelling future narratives to stakeholders and executive leadership
- Design and implement scenario-planning frameworks for high-impact decisions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, R&D, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of developing and implementing innovation roadmaps with measurable ROI
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology forecasting methodologies
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech ecosystems (AI, Web3, sustainable tech)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (white papers, TED talks)
