Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 strategic innovation roadmap through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and mitigate future risks
- Produce actionable foresight reports on AI, biotech, quantum computing, and climate tech
- Design scenario-planning frameworks for volatile global markets and regulatory landscapes
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-generation solutions with 5-7 year impact
- Represent the organization at global futurist conferences and thought leadership platforms
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies and innovation frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology foresight
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year innovation roadmaps
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and technology forecasting
- Deep understanding of emerging tech trends: AGI, synthetic biology, quantum computing
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into narratives
- Experience presenting to executive audiences and influencing high-stakes decisions
- Portfolio demonstrating futurist projects or published thought leadership
