As a key member of our R&D think tank, you'll collaborate with quantum computing researchers, bioengineers, and AI ethicists to develop actionable frameworks for emerging technologies. Your work will directly influence product development cycles, investment strategies, and our patent portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts through 2026
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging tech adoption across aerospace, biotech, and digital infrastructure sectors
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight insights into innovation sprints
- Build scenario-planning models for geopolitical and climate-driven disruption scenarios
- Author thought leadership publications and present at industry summits
- Prototype minimum viable concepts for next-gen human-machine interfaces
- Advise executive leadership on emerging risks and opportunities in quantum and synthetic biology
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field with 7+ years applied experience
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or tech innovation frameworks
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and technology adoption curves
- Proficiency in AI-driven trend analysis tools (e.g., GPT-4, Trendalyzer)
- Experience with agile development methodologies for prototyping futuristic concepts
- Deep understanding of quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech landscapes
- Certification in Foresight Methodologies (e.g., AC/FS) preferred
- Track record of influencing organizational strategy through foresight insights
