Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends across biotech, AI, quantum computing, and sustainable energy to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for 2026+ market landscapes and competitive threats
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight insights into actionable innovation roadmaps
- Design and validate prototype solutions for emerging market needs using rapid prototyping methodologies
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investor forums
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Produce annual Future State reports with data-driven trend forecasts and strategic imperatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Management, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized products or ventures
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (e.g., AGI, synthetic biology, neuromorphic computing)
- Exceptional data visualization and scenario modeling skills using tools like Foresight Platform or GIGA
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from APF or University of Houston)
- Published thought leadership in innovation or futures journals/conferences
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on long-term transformation strategies
