Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal shifts to identify disruptive opportunities through 2026+
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive Future Intelligence Framework for strategic planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into product roadmaps and innovation pipelines
- Author high-impact trend reports and scenario-planning documents for executive stakeholders
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate future-facing concepts
- Represent the company at global innovation forums and thought leadership events
- Establish KPIs for measuring the commercial impact of strategic foresight initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into market-ready solutions
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., generative AI, neurotech, climate tech)
- Exceptional storytelling and visualization skills for complex future scenarios
- Experience with strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning, STEEP analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future strategy implementation
- Fluency in data analysis tools (Python, Tableau) and AI-assisted research platforms
