Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026-2030 markets
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario planning models for enterprise decision-making
- Translate complex future trends into actionable innovation roadmaps for product development
- Present executive briefings and stakeholder workshops on emerging opportunities and risks
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Champion design thinking methodologies to prototype future-state solutions
- Produce annual Future State Reports with quantitative and qualitative trend analyses
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling abilities for executive audiences
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or Copenhagen Institute)
- Experience with futures research tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis, cross-impact matrices)
- Portfolio demonstrating published future trend forecasts or strategic foresight projects
