Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year strategic foresight frameworks for AI, biotech, and sustainable tech verticals
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and risks for 2026 market landscapes
- Partner with product teams to translate future trends into innovation roadmaps and MVP pipelines
- Establish quantitative/qualitative research methodologies using predictive analytics and horizon scanning
- Present strategic briefings to executive stakeholders and external innovation partners
- Mentor junior futurists and build internal foresight capabilities across departments
- Author thought leadership pieces for industry publications and academic journals
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurism consulting
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, climate tech)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful strategic implementations of future-forward concepts
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFMP, CFP)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex futures into executive narratives
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Cross-Impact Matrix)
- Published research or patents in relevant innovation domains
