Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech, societal shifts, and market disruptions to build 5-year strategic foresight models
- Develop innovation roadmaps for AI, biotech, climate tech, and quantum computing verticals
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into R&D priorities and product pipelines
- Author annual 'Future State' reports for executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory trends affecting long-term strategy
- Present at global conferences including CES, Web Summit, and Davos
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into commercial success
- Expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for complex futures concepts
- Experience advising C-suite executives on long-term strategy
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation domains
