Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for multi-state employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations (Form 941, W-2, etc.)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and benefits enrollments with 99.9% accuracy
- Conduct payroll audits and resolve discrepancies proactively
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and terminations
- Generate payroll reports for CFO and external auditors
- Stay current on FLSA, FICA, and state-specific labor laws
Qualifications
- 3+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- ADP Workforce Now certification or equivalent system proficiency
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Expert knowledge of FLSA, FICA, and state tax regulations
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, macros)
- Proven ability to meet strict payroll deadlines
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
