Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll for 200+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and tax filings across NJ, NY, and PA jurisdictions
- Conduct payroll audits and reconcile discrepancies with GL accounts
- Administer benefits enrollment and deductions including 401(k) and health plans
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries within SLA standards
- Prepare year-end tax forms (W-2, 1099) and support external audits
- Implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience with multi-state compliance
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar HCM systems
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or actively pursuing certification
- Strong knowledge of FLSA, state labor laws, and IRS regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and macros
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
