Responsibilities
- Perform detailed analysis of financial statements, tax returns, and cash flows to assess borrower risk.
- Develop and maintain credit scoring models and underwriting guidelines.
- Prepare comprehensive credit memos and presentations for loan committee approval.
- Monitor existing loan portfolios to identify early signs of financial distress.
- Collaborate with loan officers to resolve credit issues and structure appropriate financing solutions.
- Ensure strict compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in credit analysis, underwriting, or financial risk assessment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including PivotTables, VLOOKUP, and financial modeling).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for presenting complex data.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while meeting strict deadlines.
