Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, financial statements, and profit and loss reports.
- Process payroll for multiple entities accurately and on time.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax filings and quarterly reports.
- Review and process expense reports and vendor invoices with strict attention to detail.
- Utilize provided accounting software (QuickBooks/Xero) to track financial data.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Pro/Online or Xero preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting principles (GAAP).
- Experience with payroll processing and tax preparation is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
