In this role, you will be the backbone of our client's financial health, ensuring accuracy in recording transactions, managing accounts, and preparing vital financial reports.
Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts: Handle day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, trial balances, and general ledgers.
- Payroll: Assist with payroll processing and tax preparation filings for clients.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial records are compliant with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Reporting: Generate monthly reports for management review.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Software: Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero is required.
- Excel: Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and formulas.
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot discrepancies and maintain data integrity.
- Communication: Ability to communicate complex financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Certifications: Bookkeeping or CPA certification is a plus.
