Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts: Handle day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Reconciliation: Perform accurate bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews to ensure data consistency.
- Reporting: Prepare and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
- General Ledger: Update and maintain the general ledger with precision and timeliness.
- Expense Management: Review and verify expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Payroll Support: Assist with payroll processing and tax preparation documentation as needed.
- Software Proficiency: Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks/Xero) to manage financial data effectively.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on bookkeeping experience.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage accounting platforms is required.
- Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (including formulas and pivot tables).
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
