Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Process invoices, track payments, and ensure timely vendor billing.
- Prepare and post adjusting entries, accruals, and depreciation schedules.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and balance sheets.
- Maintain the general ledger and assist with year-end audits.
- Communicate with clients regarding financial status and outstanding balances.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor's preferred).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel (advanced functions required).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Valid FL Driver's License and reliable transportation.
