Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable records
- Prepare monthly financial statements and balance sheets for client portfolios
- Process payroll and ensure timely tax compliance filings
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements monthly
- Assist with audits and financial reporting as required
- Implement efficient bookkeeping processes using industry software
- Collaborate with senior accountants on financial analysis projects
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of full-time bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation a plus
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks
