Responsibilities

  • Manage the full cycle of accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and prepare accurate financial statements for management review.
  • Process weekly payroll for a small team, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Maintain and organize the general ledger, including coding invoices and resolving discrepancies.
  • Assist with year-end tax preparations and month-end close procedures.
  • Reconcile credit card statements and review expense reports for accuracy.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasting.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience in a corporate or accounting firm environment.
