Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile bank statements
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll cycles
- Prepare financial statements and month-end closing reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations
- Collaborate with CPA firms for annual audits
- Implement efficient bookkeeping workflows using QuickBooks Online
- Provide financial analysis to support client decision-making
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and IRS regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple client portfolios
- Professional certification (e.g., CB) a plus
