Responsibilities
- Execute daily banking transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries, resolving account issues, and educating customers on our products and services.
- Cash checks and process currency exchanges with strict adherence to security and compliance regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and ensure the daily cash drawer is balanced and reconciled.
- Identify and cross-sell banking products to meet customer needs and contribute to branch sales goals.
- Assist in opening new accounts and maintaining customer files in our banking software systems.
- Uphold strict adherence to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and internal compliance policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; prior experience in retail banking, cash handling, or customer service is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse clientele.
- Demonstrated ability to handle large amounts of cash with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Basic proficiency with computer applications, including MS Office Suite and core banking software.
- Flexibility to work a full-time schedule, including weekends and holidays as required.
- Strong ethical standards, including the ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
