Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle bookkeeping process, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and post monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Process payroll and maintain employee payroll records with 100% accuracy.
- Assist with annual tax filings and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Reconcile credit card statements and vendor accounts on a monthly basis.
- Assist the Senior Accountant with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in full-charge bookkeeping or accounting.
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Pro/Premier or Xero) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
