Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 500+ employees using ADP and Workday platforms
- Ensure compliance with FLSA, IRS regulations, and NC labor laws
- Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve employee inquiries within SLA
- Manage garnishments, benefits deductions, and year-end reporting
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and tax form updates
- Implement process improvements using Power BI analytics
- Conduct quarterly payroll audits and documentation reviews
Qualifications
- 5+ years payroll processing experience with multi-state compliance
- Proficiency in ADP Enterprise, Workday, or Ceridian systems
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification preferred
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Strong knowledge of NC state tax regulations and reporting
- Experience with garnishment administration and wage attachments
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
