Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll accurately and efficiently using ADP Workforce Now
- Manage time and attendance systems, resolving discrepancies with precision
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations (IRS, EDD, TWC)
- Handle garnishments, deductions, and benefit enrollments with meticulous attention
- Generate payroll reports for internal stakeholders and external auditors
- Collaborate with HR on employee data integrity and policy updates
- Support month-end/year-end closing procedures with audit-ready documentation
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience with ADP/Greenfield systems
- Proven expertise in multi-state tax compliance (CA, NY, TX a plus)
- Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and HRIS platforms
- CPP or FPC certification preferred or willingness to obtain within 6 months
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero-error tolerance for financial data
- Strong problem-solving skills for complex payroll scenarios
- Excellent communication abilities for cross-departmental collaboration
