As a part-time Bank Teller, you will play a crucial role in our daily operations, ensuring our members receive top-tier service while managing financial transactions with precision.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and process a high volume of transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries, resolving issues, and explaining banking products and services.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and ensure the cash drawer is balanced at the end of each shift.
- Assist in cross-selling credit union products, such as loans and savings accounts, to meet branch goals.
- Uphold strict compliance with banking regulations, security protocols, and internal policies.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous cash handling or customer service experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
- Strong mathematical skills and the ability to perform arithmetic quickly and accurately.
- Proficiency with computers and Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
