Responsibilities
- Analyze financial data, trends, and variances to provide actionable insights for executive decision-making
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with clear visualizations
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure alignment between financial goals and operational activities
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis projects to support business initiatives
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend process improvements
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 3+ years of progressive financial analysis experience in a corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and VLOOKUP
- Experience with financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle Financials) and BI tools
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize competing tasks
- Knowledge of Hawaii's tax regulations and compliance requirements
