Responsibilities
- Analyze financial data: Conduct deep-dive analysis of market trends and internal financial reports to identify growth opportunities and operational risks.
- Prepare reports: Develop clear, concise, and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for stakeholders.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and maintain rolling forecasts to ensure financial targets are met.
- Variance Analysis: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and perform variance analysis to explain differences between actuals and budgets.
- Capital Budgeting: Evaluate capital expenditures and project ROI to support strategic investment decisions.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in financial processes and recommend improvements to enhance data accuracy and reporting speed.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Operations, and Accounting to align financial goals with business objectives.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in financial analysis or a similar analytical role.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and financial modeling software.
- Database Skills: Experience with SQL or BI tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) is highly preferred.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret complex datasets and synthesize findings into strategic recommendations.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present data to non-financial audiences.
- Certification: CFA, CPA, or CMA certification is a strong plus.
