Responsibilities
- Financial Modeling & Analysis: Develop complex financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning.
- Reporting & Compliance: Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Variance Analysis: Conduct in-depth variance analysis to explain differences between actuals and budgets, providing actionable insights to leadership.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and enhance data accuracy through automation.
- Capital Budgeting: Assist in the evaluation of capital expenditures and ROI analysis for new projects.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with department heads to understand operational needs and provide financial guidance.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: 3-5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or accounting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros), SQL, and financial modeling software (e.g., Bloomberg Terminal, Tableau).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical mindset with a high degree of accuracy in data handling.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and federal tax regulations.
