What You Will Do:
As a Financial Analyst at Apex, you will serve as a key advisor to leadership, translating complex data into actionable insights. You will be responsible for maintaining our financial models, forecasting future trends, and ensuring the accuracy of our reporting.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive financial analysis, including variance analysis, forecasting, and budgeting to support strategic decision-making.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models and presentations for executive leadership and stakeholders.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis against the budget.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify market trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Assist in the preparation of external audit schedules and regulatory compliance documentation.
- Identify process improvements to enhance data integrity and reporting efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in financial analysis or corporate finance.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros) and experience with financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tableau).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial data to non-financial audiences.
- CPA certification or CFA designation is a plus.
