Responsibilities
- Build and maintain complex financial models for portfolio valuation, forecasting, and scenario analysis
- Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify investment opportunities
- Prepare executive-ready presentations summarizing financial performance, trends, and recommendations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, M&A activities, and strategic initiatives
- Monitor regulatory changes and ensure compliance with SEC and FINRA requirements
- Develop automated reporting dashboards using Power BI and Excel VBA
- Mentor junior analysts on financial best practices and analytical methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 3+ years of financial analysis experience in investment banking, asset management, or fintech
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VBA, macros, complex formulas) and financial modeling
- Expertise in SQL and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
- Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS and SEC reporting requirements
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
- Active CFA charterholder or CPA certification a significant plus
