Responsibilities
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and investment opportunities across 15+ industry sectors
- Build and maintain dynamic financial models using Excel and Power BI for quarterly forecasting
- Prepare executive-ready presentations translating complex data into actionable insights
- Collaborate with portfolio managers to conduct due diligence on potential acquisitions
- Monitor market conditions and regulatory changes affecting investment strategies
- Lead monthly budget variance analysis with 3% tolerance thresholds
- Mentor junior analysts through quarterly review sessions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 3+ years of financial analysis experience in investment banking or asset management
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros) and Power BI
- Strong understanding of GAAP, SEC regulations, and valuation methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to present to C-suite executives
- Proven track record of improving forecast accuracy by 15%+
- Experience with Bloomberg Terminal and FactSet
