Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile multi-client accounts payable/receivable cycles
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheets) with GAAP compliance
- Process payroll and tax filings for Louisiana-based businesses
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks systems for client efficiency
- Conduct variance analysis and financial forecasting support
- Coordinate annual audits with external CPA firms
- Maintain organized digital financial records in secure cloud platforms
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance + 3+ years relevant experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Louisiana tax compliance knowledge (sales, payroll, corporate)
- CPA certification or actively pursuing CPA credentials
- Proven ability to manage multiple client deadlines simultaneously
- Exceptional attention to detail with 99%+ reconciliation accuracy
- Strong written/verbal communication skills for client interactions
