- Maintain accurate general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Process payroll and ensure timely tax filings
- Generate monthly financial statements and variance reports
- Implement and improve accounting systems for client efficiency
- Assist with audits and ensure compliance with GAAP
- Manage client relationships and provide financial consultations
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Pro
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of Ohio tax regulations
- Attention to detail with error-spotting abilities
- Excellent communication and client management skills
