Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments with 100% accuracy
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through personalized financial guidance
- Resolve account discrepancies and investigate fraud claims using bank protocols
- Actively cross-sell bank products (credit cards, loans, savings accounts) to meet branch targets
- Balance cash drawer daily and adhere to strict security procedures
- Train new tellers on banking systems and compliance standards
- Collaborate with branch managers to improve customer service workflows
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cash handling experience in retail or banking
- Proficient in financial software (e.g., Fiserv, Jack Henry)
- Strong knowledge of banking regulations (Regulation CC, EFTA, BSA)
- Exceptional communication skills in both English and Spanish
- Ability to multitask in high-volume transaction environments
- Valid Texas Notary Public certification preferred
- Pass criminal background check and credit check
- Associate's degree in Finance or related field required
