Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate credit applications and financial documents for accuracy.
- Analyze borrower financial statements to determine creditworthiness and risk.
- Maintain and update customer credit files and records in the database.
- Assist in the preparation of credit reports and scoring sheets.
- Communicate findings and credit decisions to the underwriting team.
- Monitor payment histories and identify potential delinquencies early.
- Support the senior credit analysis team with data organization and reporting.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and high accuracy standards.
- Basic understanding of financial terminology and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new financial software systems.
