Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full-cycle payroll process for a diverse workforce, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for bi-weekly and monthly cycles.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations, including FLSA and tax laws.
- Process payroll adjustments, retroactive pay, and garnishments accurately.
- Prepare and reconcile payroll reports, tax filings, and general ledger entries.
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Collaborate with the HR department to update employee records and ensure data integrity.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in payroll processing or a related accounting role.
- Proficiency with payroll software (ADP, Paylocity, or similar) is required.
- Strong working knowledge of payroll tax laws, including ACA compliance.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive financial information with the highest level of confidentiality.
