Responsibilities
- Assist in the review and analysis of loan applications, financial statements, and credit reports.
- Calculate and interpret key financial ratios, including debt-to-income and liquidity ratios.
- Monitor existing client accounts to identify potential risks or changes in creditworthiness.
- Maintain and update credit databases with accurate information regarding customer accounts.
- Prepare and generate detailed credit memos and reports for the senior credit committee.
- Communicate with clients and internal teams to resolve credit-related inquiries.
- Perform general administrative duties to support the credit department's daily operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is a plus.
- No prior professional experience required; we value potential and attitude over experience.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (pivot tables and VLOOKUP are helpful).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
