In this role, you will gain hands-on experience with accounting software, financial reporting, and general ledger management. We offer comprehensive training for candidates with little to no formal accounting experience.
Responsibilities
- Process daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely.
- Perform bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations monthly.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and balance sheets.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical financial records and documents.
- Assist the Senior Accountant with year-end audits and tax documentation.
- Handle payroll data entry and employee expense reimbursements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is essential).
- Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional work ethic.
