Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts with internal ledgers.
- Process payroll assistance and maintain accurate employee records.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports.
- Organize and file physical and digital financial documents.
- Assist in tax preparation and audit support when needed.
- Utilize accounting software to input and verify financial data.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial terminology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to learn new software systems quickly.
