Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and balance sheets.
- Manage and update the company's general ledger system.
- Process invoices, expense reports, and ensure all documentation is organized and filed correctly.
- Assist with payroll preparation under the guidance of the Finance Manager.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) to maintain financial records.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- 0-2 years of experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated candidates with a strong aptitude for numbers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with cloud-based accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, FreshBooks) is a big plus.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
