Responsibilities
- Perform daily data entry and maintain accurate general ledger records.
- Assist with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions monthly.
- Prepare and organize financial reports and basic financial statements.
- Process payroll using [Software Name] under supervision.
- Maintain organized filing systems for both digital and physical documents.
- Support the finance team with month-end close procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, basic formulas).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot discrepancies.
- Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Clear communication skills and a professional demeanor.
