Key Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation and generation of monthly financial reports.
- Process payroll for small business clients using automated software.
- Organize and maintain digital and physical financial records.
- Assist with tax preparation support during peak seasons.
Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
