Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and record maintenance.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing and reconciliation.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions to ensure accuracy.
- Manage and upload invoices into accounting software (QuickBooks or Xero).
- Prepare basic financial reports and monthly summaries for management review.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding outstanding balances and account status.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is highly preferred).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors in data.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Self-starter capable of working independently in a remote environment.
