In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the financial health of our clients. You will work closely with our senior accountants to ensure accuracy in financial reporting and contribute to the smooth operation of our finance department.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and reconciliation of bank statements and credit cards.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures, including preparing trial balances and adjusting entries.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records in our accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Reconcile inventory accounts and assist with financial reporting.
- Support the finance team with payroll processing and general clerical duties.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors in data and numbers.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial terminology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (formulas and formatting).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting.
