Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks including data entry and reconciling bank statements.
- Process invoices and maintain accurate accounts payable and receivable records.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and balance sheets.
- Organize and file financial documents to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Perform basic payroll assistance and assist with quarterly tax filings.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and a knack for numbers.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) is helpful but not required.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Willingness to learn new accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero).
